Stratford Youth Theatre proudly presents the Sally Cookson’s powerful stage adaptation of A Monster Calls. Based on the novel by Patrick Ness and inspired by an original idea by Siobhan Dowd, devised by Sally Cookson, Adam Peck and the Company.
A Monster Calls follows Conor, a young boy struggling with his mother’s illness and his own nightmares. Conor’s life has become a whirlwind of grief, uncertainty, and nightly visits from an ancient, elemental force—a Monster that demands the most dangerous thing of all: the truth.
From the team behind The Spiderwick Chronicles, The Clopton Ghosts, The IT and The Snow Queen, Stratford Youth Theatre brings this stunning story of love, loss, and courage to life.
