When April calls round to see Mum with an ulterior motive, it forces Marion to visit her painful past, and when fallout from her previous life crashes into present day, it threatens to ruin their already shaky relationship.
Set in Birmingham in the 1970’s and present day, with a soundtrack to match, Honest Lies is a domestic story full of warmth and humour which charters the emotional cost of parenthood and celebrates the strength and resilience of women everywhere.
