The National Drama Festival – The Albany Theatre, Coventry,  18-21 July 2024

Between Thursday evening 18 July and Sunday afternoon 21 July, 15 amateur drama groups who've proven themselves to be 'the cream of amateur theatre' on the festival circuit within the British Isles this season will compete in front of an adjudicator for one last time.

The productions have been chosen because of the very high marks their productions have been awarded at regional competitions over the past few months. Plays have come from Gibraltar, Geneva, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and England.

If you take a look at the Running Order you’ll see the list of plays and groups performing and you'll no doubt be impressed with the variety and quality of productions involved, so it's a must for anyone who enjoys theatre. There's something of interest for everyone. You are guaranteed a fantastic few days of some of the highest quality drama with 15 productions across the 4 days.

‘It’s another year of exceptional work,” says NDFA patron, Sir Derek Jacobi.

They will be adjudicated by a GoDA Adjudicator, so that you can appreciate why they ARE the best of the best. Whether you’re coming to watch the plays in one session, or the plays in all six sessions, the Albany have put together a pricing structure that you will like. Individual session prices as well as a season ticket for £45 for all 15 productions.
