When unnerving visions of his future threaten to consume Alex, he must go on a journey of self-discovery, to find hope lost long ago.
In this vivid new production containing stories of ancient myths passed down through human history, searing visions of the future and a battle for survival, Dauntless Evolution use a whirlwind of movement, song and bold visuals to ask the question – when the future is so uncertain what can we truly rely on?
This brand-new production ‘Odyssey’ has been especially developed for Creative Explorers in partnership with GRIT Collective, supported by Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough council, and Arts Council England.
Over the past year the Dauntless team has been engaging with schools and colleges throughout Nuneaton, conducting workshops and discovering what is important to the town's future generations forming the basis for this new work.
An excerpt from ‘Odyssey’ will debut at the Art on the Streets Festival on Sunday 11 August 11, before its full debut at The Abbey Theatre from 5-7 September 2024.
