Review by Janet Malatesta
If you’re looking for a lively and energetic theatre experience that engages a young audience (2+) with catchy sing-a-long songs, lots of laughs and fun, The Baddies will not disappoint and is far too silly to scare.
From the off, the audience was captivated by the bright stand-out costumes and brilliant choreography. The set was outstanding and versatile, morphing into different scenes of the story. Children gazed on in awe as a mountain top gave way to a cottage. Fans and newcomers to this story alike, will enjoy the updated moral message throughout,
encouraging positive behaviour, and recognizing that there is a place for everyone, regardless of backgrounds and ability.
A sterling performance from all members of the cast, with Mama Mouse’s (Lottie Mae O’Kill) clear narration of Julia Donaldson famous tale, making it entertaining and fun for all the family.
